About Us

about-header

The Wimer’s gun business began in the early 70’s as a natural extension to living and hunting in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.  Originally founded by husband and wife team of Jim and Carol Wimer, they built their business on fairness and honesty in their dealings, and keen knowledge of firearms.

By the mid 1980’s their son George Wimer came on board and by the mid 1990’s when Jim and Carol retired, George was shouldering the business and thus the family tradition of values and fair dealings has continued.  The Wimer’s has been a solid business presence in the firearms world for over 30 years now.

The name Wimer has been around since long before the United States of America was a nation.  Traced thru genealogy it has been found that my great grandfathers of long ago have fought & survived the Revolutionary War of 1776.  This is true of every war since then that Wimers have served & died for our country.

I look forward to hearing from you, and hope to be doing business with you in the near future.

PS: You can see some of my Smith & Wessons in the Second edition of the “Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson” book by Jim Supica & Richard Nahas.  Jim & Richard were kind enough to ask if they could use my Website for their book. I gave my permission and everyone was happy.  You’ll find some of my guns on pages 7,40,94,98,111,115,117,118,119,134, & 145.  These prices are based on actual sales.  That is of course very important to the realization of supply & demand.

It might behoove you the next time you buy a Smith & Wesson from me to also get one of these S&W Second Edition Books by Nahas & Supica.  $50.   I’ll sign it for you as well if you would like.

My parents; “Jim & Carol retired since 1995 were also in the S.P. Fjestad Blue book of gun Values under acknowledgements, around the 12 thru 16th or 17th Editions.

Have a good Day!
